1=1 ... unless 1=2

When auditing invoices, you can’t always trust the quantity that is populated by the vendor. They may say they are billing you for only one (1) Channel Mileage Termination, but if the bill amount is twice the rate, they may have snuck one in on you there. This applies if you are looking at one paper invoice or a hundred CABS invoices. You should always double-check the math to ensure that the total amount being billed corresponds correctly with the quantity shown on the invoice as well as with the quantity for which you expect to be paying.
